The Portage Family Restaurant is proud to feature a comfortable and warm atmosphere, a full menu with delicious and healthy selections the whole family will enjoy. 

The Portage has been a family tradition for over 30 years in the beautiful city of Miramichi. 

Whether it’s a full hearty breakfast, a delicious lunch, or a wonderfully prepared dinner our food has become woven into the very fabric of our community, and we invite those whom are unfamiliar with us, to visit and see for themselves what so many of their neighbours rave about. The Portage Restaurant, located on Route 11 has been a Miramichi landmark since it opened almost forty years ago, on September 4, 1969.

The restaurant opened with fifteen employees, and was open from 7 am until 2am, seven days a week.
