About Hope’s Home Regina

The founder of Hope’s Home, Jacque Tisher, likes to be described first as a mother.

She was blessed with her first born daughter Acacia, in 1993.

Jacque’s eyes were opened to the world of children with complex medical needs when her own daughter was diagnosed with spina bifida. Early in life, Acacia blessed so many friends, family and complete strangers with her joyous attitude and grace.

She had dreams larger than life and believed anything in this world was truly possible. Being a mother to Acacia inspired Jacque to become a foster mother to children through the years.

In 2003, the opportunity came to meet another potential new member of the family, Hope Dawn Marie.

The Tisher’s quickly fell in love with her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eyes, and Jacque immediately wanted to bring Hope home. On February 3rd, 2004,...
