He apprenticed under Mike Binder and worked for John Gerber, of Gerber Plumbing until his retirement in 1986, at which time Wayne Warkentin Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning was established. In 2007, Chris Warkentin, a full time employee since 1988, became full partner and he and his father have been running this family owned and operated business together ever since.
