Peter Dibbits started the company in April of 1970.

With the purchase of his first tractor backhoe Peter began working in the Quinte area.

Trusted for his hard work and integrity Peter provided service to homebuilding and commercial contractors. 

Peter's son Joe joined the company in 1993 and was added as a partner in 1997.

Looking for new opportunities the company has continued to grow and expanded into landscape supply in 2013.

To accommodate growth and expansion Dibbits Excavating Limited purchased a property in the municipality of Quinte West in 2009.
