Ingledew's Shoes When William Wright Ingledew founded Ingledew's Shoes in Vancouver in 1915, he made quality footwear, a vast range of fittings, and exceptional service the cornerstones of his business. Ninety six years later, the family owned and operated company, now in the fourth generation of Ingledew's management, has grown from one store on Granville Street to eight stores in British Columbia; consisting of five Ingledew's Stores, one Ingledew’s Shoe Rack Clearance Centre, and two Ecco Shops in the Lower Mainland. Ingledew's calls Victoria and Kelowna home too, with a store in each city. At the time Ingledew's first opened, choices in footwear styles were limited and predominantly classic dress shoes.
